Dance - Discover Life In Color
This juried exhibition of paintings and mixed media work is a selection from members of Oceanside Museum of Art (OMA)’s Artist Alliance, featuring the vibrant and dynamic intensity of pure pigment, lively and luminous in a variety of hues, tints, and shades. Hundreds of submissions from all over Southern California were juried by OMA’s Executive Director Maria Mingalone to represent the diverse and multidimensional artists of this OMA membership affiliate group, which has grown over the past 15 years to more than 500 active artists. I am pleased to inform you that you won the Second Prize in the Artavita Artist Contest which just finished.
386 artists took part, with a total of 1832 works. There were many really beautiful works, and choosing the finalists and winning works was very difficult.
As the Second Prize Winner, your work “Ethereal Cosmic Dream Dance
” will be featured on the Back Cover of the magazine, and your other entries “A Dream Fulfilled
”, and “The Dance of the Creator” will be featured on the inside pages, all for free.

Fourth of Cityscape Art Series…I was working towards a commissioned piece but it did not materialize, instead, this piece called “A City In Flames” came to fruition. Fire symbolizes Creation, Destruction, Transformation. The crow symbolizes transformation and change. They are watchful creatures that have a sharp and powerful foresight.

My first art exhibition in Old Town Temecula, Friday the 7th of October. Begins at 6 ends at 8:00. Music and hors d'oeuvres. Quite a few local artists in attendance; I will be showing ten art pieces that were created in different mediums...wood, metal, glass and print.
